Beginning at Aberystwyth University, Dean has been performing spoken word poetry for eight years. Speaking at open mic nights and competing in Slams, Dean has brought his poetry to Liverpool, Manchester, Halifax, Blackpool and beyond.

 

Currently the Assistant Producer at Blackpool's Pub Poets, Dean assists in bringing poetic talent from across the UK to perform at Bootleg Social on the first Thursday of every month.

 

Dean's poetry has appeared on ITV News, Fylde Coast Radio and in various anthologies. His poetry show These Awkward Questions secured a five star review upon its premiere in Morecambe Fringe 2019, and subsequently won an award for Best Spoken Word Show. Dean is currently looking to bring his set to both Manchester and Edinburgh Fringes.
